Katharine Ashe starts off with a bang in this exciting romance, with sparks flying between Serena and Alex. Don't get me wrong, if nothing else this VERY quick read would make sufferers and care givers feel that someone out there is battling the same demons, but beware of god.. I was able to make rapid progress through the text, sometimes skipping ahead to sections to find just what I needed. She is saying that nobody can know what if anything is wrong with the person, because the symptoms and signs (of which there usually are none) don't match any pattern. . The presence of physical lesion cannot be ruled out just because it hasn't been demonstrated to exist. It is perfectly possible, and in fact constantly happens, that various people are labeled "schizophrenic" according to the DSM even though they don't have a single "symptom" in common.The supposed symptoms themselves are often not complaints by the patient at all, but complaints by others, or accusations, or attributes assigned by
