It makes for interesting reading and has quite a few nice historical images included. So that explains why I was never able to lose weight with exercise until now.I have been following the diet for 3 weeks now, starting with the 14 day Liver Enhancement diet, which is supposed to be almost entirely raw vegetables and fruit. Life just proceeds. So just bear that in mind. The beginning is heartbreaking, dark and sad, but what follows is how one young man grows into adulthood and tries to make sense of who he is, what he has been through and what can be done to feel whole or at least better. I did like the scope and coverage of the boA chance encounter with a reproduction of Rembrandt's The Return of the Prodigal Son catapulted Henri Nouwen on a long spiritual adventure.
