There are also several meditations that are easy to practice.All in all, this is a book that is exactly what most pregnant women need. . So I picked up Wild Comfort in delighted anticipation, until I read this in her introduction: I had set out to write a different book. This is a must read for all people!!. This book is great. A weighty topic like this could easily have been a dull read but the author manages to maintain interest with a broad sprinkling of references ranging from medieval history through to modern fashion trends. Atwood's brilliance (on several levels) flashes forward in the second half of this novel and especially in the final sequences involving the actors and their understanding of the play they have performed. This is a rough outline of how the 40 essays of the book are divided.Simply speaking I spend about somewhere between ten to thirty minutes reading one essay (most are somewhere between four and eight pages) and about the rest of the day simply trying to digest such frank and true wisdom. This is true, of course. I do not have a psychological background
