Although there is a great deal about Paris, the book as a whole rambles over much of France and even the Mediterranean. Topics that the author is most familiar with, such as television broadcasting formats, are treated in great detail (complete with circuit-level diagrams!). He thinks it is great.. Network Security Hacks by Andrew Lockhart was a very fun and interesting read. Having a background in software development (C/C++), having written a lot of assembly language in the distant past, and being familiar with processor architecture, I found the book to be straightforward and useful to me. The book fulfilled its purpose for me and I had no difficulties following along.. And a lot of hacks refer to other closely related hacks, in the manner shown above.. seriously- hardest book to reference; even the teacher had trouble with it- unfortunately, its the only book out there for this microcontroller :/. Clear instructions, very useful!. It's a much better fit.. The book is full of quotes such as "I know we're used to a robust, powerful scripting function in Unix but Windows doesn't have this so we have to"I honestly could have forgiven most of the above if the hacks had been well marked so that I could tell which were Windows related and which were Unix related.
