Of course, you would see this in any textbook, but I felt that for some of the harder (C rated questions) the material was a little bit lacking.Overall, a decent textbook. For what we get there—and this is the larger part of the book—is a brilliant example not only of Shakespeare interpretation but also of superb teaching. The exercise, at least as conducted by author Zachary Michael Jack, careers drunkenly back & forth between an uncomfortable adolescent hero-worship of both the place - Pebble Beach Golf links and the nearby town of Carmel - and the people who live there and/or frequent the area professionally or as tourists, and a coldly cynical assessment of the California-craziness of the place as seen through the lens of an austere Midwestern upbringing.Jack deserves credit for having the chutzpah to shoulder his way into the community, like the gawky nerd who crashes the party thrown by his high school social superiors.
