I am of two minds on this onepart of me really liked it, but the rest of me loathed it. A man who never refuses to stop having fun, never stops trying harder and learning more. It could and should have been. We bought this book as we got our two and six year old boys psyched for Paris, but wound up falling in love with the book ourselves. Still, writing from her new home of Sydney, Australia, Durbach is able to reflect on past events with an admirable mix of sensitivity and detachment.Yet the true villain of the book is Jan Basson, the justice of the Upington Supreme Court who presided over the trial.
